MARIONA'S FASHION INSIGHTS
Mariona is someone who has, without a doubt, changed both my professional and personal life. We met a few years ago while working at Gabriel for Sach, a brand where, by sheer luck, we ended up crossing paths. She was the Head of Communications & PR – and multidisciplinary creative – with and incredible ability to succed in everything she proposed, while I was... well, still figuring out my place in the vast world of creativity.
What struck me about Mariona right from the start was her way of being. You know when you meet someone who just seems to float through life— always with a smile, and with that great vibe? That’s Mariona. She’s that person who everyone seems to like, but the best part is that she likes everyone right back. From the very first moment, she made me feel like we had known each other forever. No awkward phases, no getting-to-know-you small talk. Everything flowed so naturally that it felt like two old friends reconnecting after a long time apart.
What surprises me most about our friendship is how much we connect, despite being so different. I come from a completely different background than she does, and yet, we just get each other. It’s like we speak the same language, even if our words don’t always match.
Mariona has this incredible ability to make you feel like your ideas matter. Even if your idea is completely wild, she’ll listen, and she’ll find the good in it. Working with her and just being her friend has taught me to be more open, bolder in my ideas, and to trust in what I bring to the table.
I admire about her how effortlessly she handles her creativity. She’s a constant source of inspiration—not just because she’s so talented, but because of how she lives her life. She’s been a reminder to me that you can be both professional and incredibly skilled without losing that warmth and humanity that, at the end of the day, is what really matters.
So yes, I could say Mariona is more than a friend— an example of how creativity can be as simple as throwing on some loose trousers and a white shirt, and still turning heads.
One of the things that blows my mind is her personal style. She has this incredible ability to dress in a way that’s so minimalist, but at the same time tomboy, and cool, it’s almost impossible not to notice her –also because she is ridiculously tall.
You know that look that seems casual but, when you pay attention, has something truly special? She doesn’t follow trends, but she’s never behind them. Her style is a sort of effortless elegance that doesn’t need to show off to stand out.
And it’s not just in her wardrobe—it’s also reflected in her work. Mariona has this gift of turning a campaign, a design, or even a random conversation into a piece of art. Her approach is always fresh, always different, without ever losing the simplicity that makes her so unique.
