SIX SUMMER OUTFIT IDEAS

I'm going to pretend no time has passed since the last time I posted, simply because I feel ashamed of being absent for so long. June was a tricky month, filled with complicated situations that took over my daily life and kept me from dedicating time to preparing content and ideas for the blog.

Now that that's behind me, the weather has been changing faster than ever, and summer has truly hit the city. It's officially that time of the year when you either choose to go out practically naked or you don't care at all about what you're wearing. I definitely practice both, but this article is all about sharing summer outfit ideas for different occasions around the city.

Summer is the season to wear those pieces that spend the rest of the year waiting in your wardrobe. A sheer dress layered over simple bikini suddenly feels completely appropriate once the temperatures rise. It's definitely the boldest look here, but that's exactly why I love it. Ideal for a dinner reservation, drinks with friends, or any night when getting dressed is part of the fun.

This is probably the outfit that represents my summer wardrobe the most. A good pair of jeans, a simple tank top, and a scarf tied around the waist because sometimes accessories make more difference than buying something new. It's comfortable enough for running errands all day but still feels intentional. One of those looks that always works, whether you're meeting someone for coffee or spending the afternoon window shopping.

One thing I love about getting dressed is wearing pieces in ways they weren't necessarily intended. A delicate bra top with oversized cotton trousers somehow makes perfect sense in summer. It feels effortless, breathable, and a little unexpected. I'd wear this for terrace drinks, sunset walks, or whenever the city finally starts cooling down after a long, hot day.

Whenever I don't know what to wear, I always end up reaching for a one-piece. Whether it's a jumpsuit, a dress or a matching set, having only one decision to make feels like a luxury in this weather. This blue one instantly looks polished with almost no effort. I'd wear it to work with a tote bag, for lunch meetings, or even for dinner by simply swapping the everyday bag for something smaller.

There are days when getting dressed should require the least amount of effort possible, and a white dress is always the answer. This one feels light enough for the hottest mornings but still put together, so I paired it with leather boots to take away some of its sweetness. It's the kind of outfit I'd wear for wandering around my favorite streets, or spending an afternoon visiting galleries before ending up at dinner without needing to change.

I don't think summer should always mean linen and neutrals. Sometimes a bright top and the shortest skirt you own are exactly what the day calls for. This look is fun without trying too hard. Perfect for grabbing an ice cream, walking around the city with friends, or those evenings when you don't really have plans but somehow end up staying out for hours.
