BACK TO BALANCE

September feels like a whole new year, and if you ask me, time moves so fast that reinventing yourself after nine months into the year and starting to reorganize and reconnect with your inner self right after summer –when the breeze turns hotter and heavier, especially in our own minds– sounds like the perfect time.

The past few months have been very intense in my daily life, and deep down I understand that I was following a path that was taking me to a very self-demanding place –which I really like and enjoy– but I am a firm believer that everything also has its own time, and joy should always be more present and tangible than anything else for the ecosystem and rhythm of life that I look forward to building.

Coming back to my routine after taking 15 days off work and a complete month of just pausing my thoughts and taking a break from being active on social media all the time has been very beneficial for my inner consciousness. As a Virgo girl whose birthday is coming in a few days, I’ll mostly be getting ready to achieve what’s next for the upcoming months ahead with the most positive attitude possible and move forward toward that which has been making me feel the most alive.

So, that being said, this comeback will be all about getting back home and sharing outfits that might be useful as well as not very elaborate, so the comeback will get progressively more interesting in the next articles.

Right after finishing the warmest months of the year, even though I still prefer to keep the heat turned on, I also kind of look forward to starting to dress up a little more bringing out the long sleeves, the boots, and most importantly, the balance in outfits that usually gets lost when you’re just trying to survive the heat.

A non-negotiable for me during the midseason, pre-fall, would be mixing shorts with long sleeves and sandals. More formal trousers paired with an open-back top, coordinated sets, and lots of skirts with a good pair of boots (probably my favorite).

And as I slowly step back into this space, it feels just right to welcome the new season with both comfort and intention. There’s something about this time of year that invites a softer pace, a clearer mind, and a more grounded version of ourselves. I’m excited to be back – sharing, creating, and flowing with whatever comes next.
