CASUALLY WEARING HEELS
If I’m honest, I can’t really wear heels in my everyday life or at least I couldn’t until now. I’ve always worked in retail, either on my feet all day or constantly moving from one store to another. Of course, that isn’t necessarily a reason not to wear them, but I like to be realistic, and practicality usually wins.
Still, I can’t help but think I’m not the only one who has romanticized different stages of life because of all the content I’ve consumed over the years. Somehow, I'd convinced myself that by the time I turned 25, I'd have a house, the way I imagined I would when I was little and that I'd wear heels every single day. Dressing like I'd just stepped out of a '90s film set in New York felt like the bare minimum. But that's not how real life works.
Even so, the choice is still mine, and so is the effort to wear them more often. The one thing I haven’t been able to control, though, is buying them. That’s probably what confuses me the most about my own decisions. If I know perfectly well I don’t wear them enough, why do I keep buying more? But that’s a conversation for another day.
For today’s post, I simply wanted to put together a few outfit ideas in case you do have the opportunity and the intention to wear heels every day. Hopefully, these looks will give you a little inspiration.
